Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

At Cura Kin, we strive to provide the highest quality home care services. We understand that circumstances can change, and we have designed our refund and cancellation policy to be fair and transparent to all our clients.

Service Cancellation

Standard Cancellation

You may cancel a scheduled shift or service without any charge if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

Late Cancellation

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time may incur a nominal fee of up to 50% of the service cost for that shift, as we have already allocated a caregiver to your case.

Ongoing Care Plans

For recurring or long-term care plans, we require a minimum of 7 days written notice for cancellation. Any advance payments for services beyond the notice period will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Caregiver replacement not provided within a reasonable timeframe
  • Service was paid for but not delivered due to our error
  • Overpayment or duplicate payment was made
  • Cancellation made within the applicable notice period

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refund:

  • Services already delivered and completed satisfactorily
  • Late cancellation fees as described above
  • Administrative fees for assessments or consultations (if applicable)
  • Partial shifts where care was provided for a portion of the scheduled time

  2. Include your name, service details, and reason for the refund request
  3. Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days
  4. If approved, refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days
  5. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method

Caregiver Replacement

If you are not satisfied with the assigned caregiver, we will make every effort to provide a suitable replacement at no additional cost. This is not considered a cancellation and does not affect your service agreement.
